Im Stuart, and talking about myself isnt my forte… But I’ll give it a shot.
Currently, I work as a Creative Director for a Melbourne based web development agency, managing a team of 11 including Graphic Design, Programming, Helpdesk and Account Management. Over the course of the last decade I’ve run a web hosting company, designed interfaces for software, written applications, poured beers, designed websites, built websites, branded companies, worked in sales, printed collateral, designed site architecture, consulted on SEO strategy, owned an email marketing business, dealt with major banking institutions, attempted to be sued by Telstra (for doing work, they requested), owned my own company…….. And most painfully of all, lost money on the stock market. But what can ya do, there is no more hair to lose at this point so its all good.
Above all though, my main focus and passion is graphic design from brand conceptualisation, through to printed collateral, through to online and marketing initiatives. Combined with my knowledge of web, and other mediums, I think Ive got a pretty good handle on things.
Im still heavily involved in sport, trying to hold on to my youth by playing baseball on weekends. Im currently the club coach of St kilda baseball club, and in between eating too many pizzas, I go for the odd run. Truth be told, I should be eating the odd pizza in between too many runs. But its not a perfect world.
